1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using QrLens ("the Service"), operated by Clouds Solutions ("we", "our", or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service, whether through a free or paid plan.

2. Service Description

QrLens is a web-based QR code generator and scanner that allows users to:

  • Generate QR codes for URLs, text, Wi-Fi, contacts, and other data types
  • Scan QR codes using their device camera
  • Customize QR code appearance and styling
  • Save scan history and favorite QR codes locally
  • Export QR codes in various formats (PNG, SVG, PDF)

The Service is provided as a Progressive Web App (PWA) accessible through modern web browsers.

3. User Accounts

Some features of QrLens may require you to create an account. When creating an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Promptly update any information that changes
  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. User Obligations

When using QrLens, you agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Generate QR codes containing malicious content, malware, or phishing links
  • Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without permission
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations

5. Intellectual Property

The QrLens name, logo, design, and underlying code are the intellectual property of Cloud Solution Berlin GmbH. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our branding without written permission.

QR codes you generate using QrLens belong to you. We claim no ownership over the content you create with our Service.

6. Subscriptions & Payments

QrLens offers both free and paid (Pro) plans. For paid subscriptions:

  • Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your payment information.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Settings page. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us within 14 days of purchase for refund requests.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cloud Solution Berlin GmbH shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

  • Loss of data or profits
  • Service interruptions or downtime
  • Errors in QR code generation or scanning
  • Third-party content accessed through QR codes

Our total liability for any claims related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

You may stop using the Service at any time. If you have a paid subscription, cancellation does not entitle you to a refund for the current billing period.

10. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Material changes will be communicated to registered users via email.

Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Germany.
